Associate Professor Xiao Kai was invited to participate in the China Materials Conference

The "China Materials Conference 2022-2023" hosted by the Chinese Society for Materials Research was held in Shenzhen, China from July 7^th to 10^th, 2023. More than 19000 material technology workers, more than 1500 outstanding Yangtze River scholars, and more than 50 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the conference.

Associate Professor Xiao Kai was invited to attend the meeting and gave a report titled "Biomimetic multi-scale ion based neural morphology devices", introducing the research direction of our research group and exchanging opinions with the scientific research experts present.

The "China Materials Conference" is the most important series of conferences organized by the Chinese Society for Materials Research, held once a year. This conference has established 77 sub forums in the fields of major basic research, applied basic research, cutting-edge hotspots, and especially key "bottleneck" materials, covering 5 main topics including energy materials, environmental materials, advanced structural materials, functional materials, material design, preparation, and evaluation, as well as related interdisciplinary subjects. At the same time, some characteristic forums and exhibitions have been opened.

The purpose of the conference is to build an exchange platform for experts, scholars, professors, scientific and technological workers, government management departments and leaders, entrepreneurs, and other relevant personnel engaged in the research, development, and industrialization of new materials in China, to exchange and share the latest achievements in material research, achieve the goal of mutual promotion and common improvement, and enhance the status and role of new materials in China's national economy and social development.
