On April 28, 2024, to commemorate the May Fourth Movement and welcome the arrival of Youth Day, the Communist Youth League Shenzhen Committee, in collaboration with the Southern University of Science and Technology, jointly organized the "2024 Youth Speaking Event and 'Shenzhen Volunteer Lecture Team' Special Presentation at Southern University of Science and Technology." Associate Professor Kai Xiao, representing the youth of Southern University of Science and Technology, delivered a speech titled "Youth Responsibility in the Era of New Productive Forces" and engaged in dialogue with numerous young participants.
